March 25, 2025: The TBRC has officially added Yellow-headed Caracara to the state list.  The acceptance of this species brings the state list to 672.

July 18, 2024: Due to changes with the AOS 65th supplement, the split of Cory's Shearwater has resulted in the addition of Scopoli's Shearwater to the state list, bringing it to 671.

July 10, 2024: The TBRC has officially added Southern Lapwing to the state list.  The acceptance of this species brings the state list to 670.

June 3, 2024: The TBRC has officially added Tufted Duck, Yellow-footed Gull and Gray-collared Becard to the state list.  The acceptance of these species brings the state list to 669.

December 31, 2023: The TBRC has officially added Pacific Wren and Crescent-chested Warbler to the state list.  The acceptance of these species brings the state list to 666.
