January 2, 2023: The TBRC has officially added Wedge-tailed Shearwater to the state list, bringing it to 664 species.

Septembr 17, 2022: At the TBRC Annual Meeting, the TBRC removed Limpkin from the Review List.

August 25, 2022: The TBRC has officially added Small-billed Elaenia and Trindade Petrel to the state list. The acceptance of these species brings the state list to 663.

August 21, 2022: Due to changes with the AOS 63rd supplement, the state list grows to 661 via the addition of Chihuahuan Meadowlark as a full species (split from Eastern Meadowlark).
